Most people who connect with Open Door would describe us as a church that loves well, leading with genuineness and authenticity. Also, many have added that we're a place of healing and one of the healthiest churches they have come to know. For over 50 years, Open Door has held firm to the belief that…God desires an authentic, intimate relationship with every person, regardless of their past sins, old wounds, or church experience. The absolute best way to get to know us is spend a few weeks with us and checking out all the Open Door family has to offer. Who we are is best reflected by our values below:
~ By growing in our relationship with God
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your. heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
~ By intentional authentic relationships with others
1 Peter 1:22
".......love one another deeply, from the heart."
~ By learning and applying the word of God, centered in the Good News of Jesus Christ
2 Tim 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
~ By serving one another faithfully and selflessly
1 Peter 4:10
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
~ By intentionally reaching out to others and sharing the love of Jesus with them.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Discover the family ministry of Open Door Bible Church. Our passion is to guide children, infants through fifth grade, toward a personal faith in Jesus Christ and growth as His life-long followers. We do this by providing:
- an exciting, safe and nurturing environment
- loving, capable and enthusiastic teachers/care givers
- support and encouragement to parents
Middle School and High School students participate in everything adults do. We believe that young people are a huge part of the church and should be challenged to lead and love well. Our desire is to see our students grow in Christ, reach the community, and be a catalyst for the church in years to come.
