Tammy is a busy lady and wears two critical hats for the body of Christ at Open Door! She joined the team in 2002 as the Office Manager and provides vital administrative support to the pastors, elders, and the church body. In addition to this, she manages our database, calendar and serves as our Financial Secretary too!
But Tammy is equally impassioned to see the next generation of believers be built up and embrace the Gospel! She partners with parents and the church to oversee all elementary kid ministries and the nursery--a growing ministry! Tammy and her husband, Len, are retired from the Air Force and have three married children. Heather is in the local area, Matthew is an Air Force officer in Colorado, and Dawn is a missionary in Slovenia. Len and she have five grandkids!

Tim & Debra Hoffman

Tim and Debra have been with Open Door for many years, having met while in the Air Force and married in 1993. They have been staff members since 2004. Tim, who has a personal business as a handyman doing various types of home repair work, oversees and provides maintenance of the church's facilities and grounds. Debra serves as church "housekeeper" and gardener. They LOVE the church and kids, and both serve in many volunteer capacities as well, such as Librarian (Debra) and Kids teachers (both).

Gary grew up on the east coast and earned his accounting degree from Marshall University. Shortly after, he surrendered to a vocational call to ministry and left for Dallas Theological Seminary, earning his Masters in Theology in 1984. He came to Open Door from DTS as part of a church revitalization program and has served as one of our pastors ever since. He went on to earn a degree in counseling and a Doctor of Ministry degree.
Gary provides oversight and leadership to Open Door as our Lead Pastor. He oversees the Worship, Missions, and administrative functions of Open Door, and he is a gifted teacher, preacher, and counselor. He believes fervently that in order for a church to truly help people, the teaching and preaching must be both biblical and practical. Gary and his lovely wife, Chris, have four grown children ~ Rebecca (and David), Rachel (and Heath), Jonathan (and Lisa), and Adam (and Brandi) ~ and twelve grandchildren.
