Small Groups

Small groups are key to developing deep and meaningful relationships, experiencing vibrant Christian community and thus moving forward in the spiritual journey. At Open Door, we provide two types of small groups to help you connect and grow together.

Bible Study Groups are small groups that focus their attention on doing Bible study together, but always with practical and relevant application. These groups meet weekly on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings throughout the year. They're a great first step!

Life Groups are small groups who get together regularly for a couple of hours to encourage each other along the spiritual journey. We hang out, share a meal or just a cup of coffee and dessert as we get to know each other and learn about following Jesus. We’ll do a Bible study or a Bible-based book study, pray for each other and encourage one another. Most Life Groups meet on Sunday evenings, but some meet at other times.

To make it easy to connect, we provide open group sign-ups three times during the year: January, May-June and August-September. Most groups are open to new folks at any time, but during the semester you may wish to contact the group leader for more info.

Sunday evening Life Groups are taking a break for the summer, but there are still plenty of opportunities to connect and grow...together. Summer Groups will begin Sunday, June 19. So we encourage you to find a Bible Study or ongoing Life Group, gather with friends or reach out to make new ones and get the most out of your summer.
